KY Farm to School Network Initiatvies
School Garden Mini-Grants
In early 2022, the KY Farm to School Network awarded five $5,000 mini-grants for schools to implement school garden activities. Interns from the University of Kentucky assist the awarded school with their garden and educational programming. Funding provided through the Kentucky Horticulture Council as part of a USDA NIFA Food and Agriculture Service Learning Project (FASLP).

Taste Test Mini-Grants
In the 2022-23 school year, the KY Farm to School Network awarded fifty $1,000 taste test mini-grants for schools, farms, and community partners to conduct taste testing activities of KY-grown fruits and vegetables with KY school students. Funding provided through the Kentucky Horticulture Council as part of a USDA NIFA Food and Agriculture Service Learning Project (FASLP).
